Doris Crestella Herrera

Life long resident of Greeley Colorado died on November 24, 2023 at the age of 63 years battling kidney failure while under Hospice care.
Doris is survived by her Brother Danny Herrera, Michele Herrera of Cheyenne, Wyoming two aunts Evelyn Herrera of Cheyenne Wyoming and Bina Lopez of Greeley Colorado and many Cousins, predeceased by her mother Belen Herrera, Grandparents Moses Herrera Tiedorita Trujillo Herrera, Uncles and Aunts.
Doris was born June 16, 1959 Cheyenne Wyoming to Belen Herrera, graduated from Utah School for the Deaf moved to Greeley Colorado 2002 and attended the Frontier House where she learned self sufficiency skills and began to volunteer where she met Shaun Chavez the love of her life of twenty two years, Best friends Julia Pacheco also her cousin and Amanda Kammerzell of Greeley Colorado.
Doris enjoyed attending the Frontier House where she met most of her friends, if you did not sign she would take out her little tablet and pencil and write what is your name.
If Doris was writing on that little tablet right now, she would write, DON'T BE SAD, DON'T CRY, SHE WOULD SIGN IT'S OKAY IT'S OKAY IT'S ALRIGHT PLEASE DON'T BE SAD.
