Doris was born in Bonham, TX to James Luther Ball and Barbara Elizabeth Ball. Doris married Rickey Kirk on March 11, 1976 in Bonham, Texas. Doris was a devoted, lifelong Christian who loved Jesus, reading, plants, and spending time with the love of her life, Rickey, and the considerable family created with love during 49 years of marriage.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Barbara Ball.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years Rickey, daughters, Sarah Milburn and husband Robert, Subeth Watkins and husband Stacey, Andra Shires and husband Jimmy, son, Matthew Kirk, brother, Ronnie Ball and wife Becky, aunts, Lois Ball, Patty Baugh, Uncle, Jake Baugh and wife Cate, 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tristan Kirk, Austin Worley, Robert Milburn IV, Sarah Milburn, JD Murrell, EJ Kirk
