Doris Maxwell Obituary
On Tuesday, April 22, 2025, Doris made her transition to eternal life.
Doris was the daughter of Charles and Lorene Maxwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Emmanuel, Wayne, and Larry Maxwell, as well as, Syncere Humphries, her great-grandson.
She worked in manufacturing for many years. She enjoyed cooking, watching tv, meeting and talking to people, and making people laugh with the funny nicknames she’d give them.
Doris leaves to mourn, 2 daughters, Rita Maxwell, of Atlanta, Ga, and Nina Brewer (Poole); 2 sons, Willard Poole of Atlanta, Ga, and Benny and Alisha Maxwell, of Atlanta, Ga; 2 sisters, Mary and Nikita Maxwell, of Toccoa, Ga; 4 brothers, Charles Jr., Danny, Lamar, and Chris Maxwell, of Toccoa, Ga; special friend, Terry Martin, of Atlanta, Ga; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Though her journey was marked by struggles, she faced every challenge with courage and grace. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and love that will never be forgotten.
