Doris was a dedicated long-haul truck driver, a profession that reflected her strength, determination, and adventurous spirit. In addition to her years on the road, she also worked in the restaurant business, where she enjoyed serving others and building friendships within her community. Doris was known for her strong work ethic, straightforward nature, and the love she carried for her children.
She is survived by her children, Ken May, Darius May, Marcus May, and Ute May. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Andrea May.
A funeral service will be held at Young Family Funeral Home on Monday, March 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
