Larry Stephens Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Crawfordville on Feb. 23, 2026.
Larry Keith Stephens, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. Larry was born on December 11, 1940, in Sallisaw, Oklahoma. A hardworking and dedicated man, he spent more than 60 years in the heating and air conditioning industry, building a reputation for reliability, skill, and an unwavering work ethic. Beyond his profession, Larry was an exceptionally skilled woodworker who lovingly crafted custom furniture for his family-pieces that will remain treasured reminders of his talent, patience, and care. He was also a lifelong pilot, finding freedom and joy in the skies and carrying a deep love for aviation throughout his life.

He eventually made his home in Woodville, Florida, where he shared many years with his beloved wife of forty years, Rebecca. Together, they built a life rooted in love, perseverance, and family. Larry was known for his steady presence, quiet strength, and the pride he took in creating things with his hands. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Obed Stephens; his mother, Nola Baldridge; his stepmother, Lillian Stephens; his stepfather, George Baldridge; his wife, Rebecca Stephens; and his daughters, Shelly Ann Stephens and Jeanie Lynn Stephens. He is survived by his loving daughters, Connie Leonard, Sherrell Morrison, and Holly Gerrell; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson, all of whom carry forward his memory and the values he lived by. Larry's life was one of dedication, craftsmanship, adventure, and family. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
