Doris Jane McAdams

Doris Jane McAdams, age 67, passed away on March 25, 2026, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on April 5, 1958, in Paris, Texas to Luther McAdams and Leita (Taylor) McAdams.
Doris found great comfort in reading her Bible and was a devoted woman of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. Above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Doris will be remembered as a loving, caring, and devoted woman whose kindness and faith touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three children, Justin Eugene Isaac Jr. and wife Kayla May Isaac; Jennifer Marie Miller and husband Rodney Miller; and David Clay McAdams and wife Darlena McAdams; eight grandchildren, Justin Eugene Isaac III, David Dean Isaac, Jennifer Kay Isaac, Layla Ann Smelser, Sydney Miller, Shelby Miller, Sofia Miller, and Shaylee Miller; as well as her siblings, Carol Tucker, Virginia Palmer, Donna Mendenhall, and Ricky McAdams.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Luther McAdams and Leita McAdams; her brothers, Gary McAdams, Dewayne McAdams, and Bob McAdams; and her sister, Vada Patterson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the Fort Smith Seventh-Day Adventist Church, located at 4321 Jenny Lind Road in Fort Smith, AR 72908.
