Doris Jane Nezbeth passed away on February 4, 2026. She resided at Canterbury Villa of Alliance, having previously lived in Sebring, Ohio before a debilitating illness in 2021.
She was born on February 27, 1945, in Alliance, Ohio, to Thomas and Inez Eliot Campbell, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tom and David, and her sisters, Thelma, Arlene, and Judy.
She is survived by her son, John, of Aurora, Colorado, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Kent State University, where she earned a degree in psychology, and The University of the State of New York, where she completed her nursing education. She devoted her professional life to caring for others as a registered nurse, working at several local nursing homes and hospitals. Earlier in her career, she was also a beautician and the owner of Serendipity Styling Salon.
She had a deep interest in genealogy and greatly enjoyed researching her family's history. Her hobbies included archery and bowling, and she especially loved reminiscing about her travels to England and Scotland.
In accordance with her wishes, no services will be held. Burial will take place at Damascus Cemetery, Damascus, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Sebring Chapel, (330) 938-2526, www.grfuneralhome.com.
