Doris A. (Bosselait) Pratt, 75, of Gardner, died peacefully Friday, October 4, 2024, in her home surrounded by her family after a period of declining health with Alzheimer's Disease.

She received her licensed practical nursing certificate from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School and her associate degree in nursing from Mount Wachusett Community College. Doris was a registered nurse employed by Heywood Hospital of Gardner for over 45 years until her retirement.
Doris was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at its Holy Spirit Chapel. She had a warm heart and a love for animals, which was evident in her cherished pets. Doris also had a green thumb and enjoyed working in her garden. She loved to travel, especially to Walt Disney World. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored.
Doris is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 57 years, Robert W. Pratt of Gardner; her two daughters, Tracey Pratt-Leger of Gardner and Jessica Pratt of Keene, NH; a son, Robert Pratt Jr. of Gardner; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; a brother, John Bosselait and his wife Patricia of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family is deeply grateful to the teams at Heywood Hospital, Care Central VNA and Hospice, Dr. John Worden, Fr. Victor Sierra, Fr. Luke Johnson, and Dec. Stanley Baczewski of Annunciation Parish. Their compassion and care were a source of comfort during Doris's final days.
