A great lady who provided leadership and direction to many Huntsville area community projects. An outstanding speaker who served as a dedicated preacher at her church. Her words at "Bubby" Stick's funeral provided comfort in those challenging times. She and I at times worked together promoting Black history in her church and community. I regret that medical tests on the second will prevent my attendance at her service. Huntsville and Second Missionary Baptist have lost a vital part of who they are. Farewell, Doris. You are already missed.
