Doris Naheli Rodriguez, age 32, passed away November 24, 2023. Doris was born in Brownsville and grew up in Kyle, Texas where she attended Lehman High School.
Doris lived in Austin where she enjoyed eating out, traveling, and reading. She loved to see her favorite bands & singers in concert, loved Asian culture, was passionate about cruelty-free make-up, colorful hair & wigs, and so much more. She would do anything for her nephews, her family, and friends but also loved her alone time. She made everyone who knew her laugh, cry, and clap at all the stories & antics she shared, and was unapologetically herself, always.
Doris is survived by her parents, Rodrigo and Nancy Rodriguez, brother Eric Rodriguez and his wife Maria Rodriguez, beloved nephews AJ & Leo, grandmas Petra & Lourdes and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her best friends, Seri, Katie, Jordyn, Ale, and Ariana. Our family is grateful that Doris was strong in her faith and is now at peace. Funeral Mass will be offered at St Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church in Kyle, TX on December 9, 2023, at 9am. All are welcome.
