Doris A. (Rogers) Schnee, 89, of Robesonia passed away Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Phoebe Berks Health Care Center. She was the wife of the late Frank W. Doris, a daughter of the late Paul and Elizabeth (Miller) Rogers, was born in Wernersville on March 19, 1935. She was a graduate of Robesonia High School and the McCann School of Business. After retiring from the Air Force on July 2, 1973, Doris and Frank returned to Robesonia, where Doris returned to the work force as Executive Secretary for Automotive Service. She would continue there for the next 20 years, retiring in 1993. Over the next 17 years, she served as a volunteer for Berks Visiting Nurses and the ECC Retirement Village, highlighting a life of service to her country, family, and community.
Doris is survived by her two sons, Dr. Terry Schnee (Wilkes-Barre) and Colonel Thomas Schnee and his wife Michele of Tucson, AZ; her only daughter Vicki Norce (Schnee) of Robesonia; two grandchildren, Toni Norce and Heather Baker; 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her brother, Paul "Bud" Rogers, Jr., and her sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Weiss.
Burial will be private for the family in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sinking Spring. Lamm & Witman Funeral Home, 243 W. Penn Ave., Wernersville, is handling arrangements. Contributions in Doris' memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Robesonia Fire Department (Sta 26).
