Doris J. Shields, 92 of Stigler died on Friday, August 1, 2025 at Stigler. She was born at Texarkana, Arkansas on December 18, 1932 to John Riley Porier and Maudie May (Cole) Porier. She was married to Kenneth Shields and made their home together in Stigler. She is survived by her son, Donnie Davis and wife Wanda of Keota; her grandchildren, Blaine Lamb of Stigler, Tyler Davis of Keota, Chrissie Waggoner of Pittsburg, Kansas; her very special friends, Lonnie and Betty Davis. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Maudie Porier; her husband, Kenneth Shields; her son, Kenny Shields; her daughter, Lana Lamb.
