Doris Eva Spinato, age 91, sadly passed away on Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. Doris was born on February 22nd, 1932 in Flintstone, Maryland to parents Marshall and Edna Dermer. Doris was a devoted wife to her late husband, Don Spinato, and a loving mother to her five children, Bonnie Willet, Ruthie Long, Joe Spinato, Donna Boyd and Grayce Walters.
Doris was a graduate of Flintstone High School and worked in hospitality for many years, which would explain her warm and generous heart. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed attending mass every Sunday. Doris had a passion for cooking and baking, and her Italian dishes were always a favorite among family and friends. She also loved spending time outside, riding her bike but most importantly time with her grandchildren.
Doris is survived by her children Joe and his wife Donna, Grayce and Donna, as well as her grandchildren, Katrina, Rodney, Christin, Nikki, Brittany, and Gregory, and great grandchildren, Carlie, Nico, Rocco, Casen, Cenzlie, Aiden, Mila, Lincoln, Landon and Maddox. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank the staff at Faith Presbyterian for their compassionate care during her final days.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25th from 5-8:30 Williams Funeral Home in Garland. Followed by a graveside service on Thursday, October 26th at 11a.m. Doris will be laid to rest at Williams Funeral Cemetery in Garland, TX next to her late husband Don.
