Boyd ~ Doris Marie Styles, 88, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Boyd.
Graveside service is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 11th, at New Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery one hour before the service.
Doris was born on February 13, 1937, to Archie and Estelle (Ward) Walls in Blum, Texas. She was united in marriage to Merle Henry Styles on April 23, 1955, at Kopperl Baptist Church in Kopperl, Texas. Doris retired from Harris Hospital, SECOR, and the bail bonds business. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Estelle Walls; her husband, Merle Henry Styles; her siblings, Archie Walls, Jr., James Walls, Beulah Hammond, and Woody Walls.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Gary Merle Styles and wife Debbie of Perrin, and Gregory Warren Styles of Boyd; her four grandchildren, Junior Styles, Chanda Styles, Amanda Styles, and Derrick Brister; other relatives; and a host of friends.
