Doris Mae Wurth, loving mother of Judy Majeres, Mary Wurth, Peg Johnson, Audrey Beelner (deceased), Jean Griffin, Marge Dunn, Marilyn Wurth, and Michael Wurth-died Friday, September 5, 2025.
Doris was born May 8, 1924, in Remsen, Iowa, to Jim and Mollie (Kennedy) Arens. She married Louis Wurth on May 3, 1943, in Culver City, California. They returned to Iowa a couple of years later, where they farmed and raised eight children. Mom believed she was "blessed with work," and her model continues to light the way of her survivors.
Memorial services are being planned with a burial at the Remsen Cemetery at a later date.
