She was a graduate of Liberty High School and dedicated her adult life to raising and caring for her family. Dorothy also worked for the Trumbull County Recorders Office for over 20 years retiring in the late 2000's.
Dorothy truly enjoyed baking for her family and friends, especially her famous clothespin cookies. Her greatest joy came from the time she spent with her loved ones, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Chris Adams; her sister, Helen (Nick) Marsh; and her brother, John (Elizabeth) Shirilla.
Private services were held at Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
Dorothy will be laid to rest at Belmont Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
