Dorothy Berry, 86, of Baytown was born December 25, 1924 in West Columbia, TX to Tom and Effie Clark and passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at her home. She was a 1943 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School where she was a member of the Brigadiers and attended Lee College. She was a very active lifelong member of First Christian Church of Baytown. She was a volunteer at St. James House of Baytown and was a member of the Goose Creek Country Club, the Bridge Club, and the Thursday Forum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Berry and son, Patrick Berry. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Pamela Ferguson of Ormond Beach, FL and Lynne and Barry Miller of Boca Raton, FL; grandchildren, Austin Miller and Ryan Miller, both of Boca Raton, FL and Bryan Ferguson of Hollywood Beach, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be private and a memorial service will be held Monday, February 21, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at First Christian Church of Baytown, 201 Forrest Ave., Baytown, TX 77520 with Rev. Paul Lowe officiating. A reception will follow at the Goose Creek Country Club, 5000 Country Club Dr., Baytown, TX 77521.
