Dorothy's formative years in Wellsville led her to a fulfilling career as a Press Operator, where she worked diligently for many years. After retiring, she dedicated over two decades to cherishing time with her beloved children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who affectionately called her their "G.G." Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Dorothy (Black) Hawk, and her son-in-law, Scott Ryan. Her legacy of warmth and kindness continues through her surviving family: her son Hubert "Sonny" (Beth) Cline, daughters Jean Ann (John) Lanam and Loretta (Scott) Ryan, and her sisters Olita (Jeff) Brown, and Karen (Bill) Oiler. She was a cherished grandmother to 11 grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren. Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who adored her.
