Of Newton passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at Newton-Wellesley Hospital.

Born, raised, and educated in Waltham, Dorothy was the beloved daughter of the late Harold and Louise (Filosa) Kelley.

A devoted daughter, loving mother, caring sister, aunt, and treasured friend to many, Dorothy was known for her polished presence and unmistakable sense of style. She had a true love for shopping-especially for clothes-and was always impeccably dressed from head to toe. Equally legendary was her talent for returns, often heading back to the store with the same enthusiasm she had when making her purchases, a habit that brought endless smiles and fond stories among family and friends.

Beyond her love of fashion, Dorothy was incredibly generous. She never hesitated to give things away if someone else could use them, embodying a kindness that was as genuine as it was effortless. Her humor, warmth, and thoughtful nature left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Dorothy Deldon will be remembered for her grace, generosity, and vibrant personality. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Dorothy was predeceased by her cherished son, Richard Deldon, whose memory she held close to her heart.

Dorothy is survived by her loving sister Patricia Pomeroy, her niece Patryce Lally and countless more nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Services are to be held privately for the family.
