Age 84, of Penn Hills, peacefully, on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the Willows of Presbyterian Senior Care. Beloved wife of the late John E. DeRiggi; Step Mother of Christine Cardinal, John M.(Linda) DeRiggi, Michael (Marion) DeRiggi, Angelo (Cindy) DeRiggi, and the late Catherine Jones. Step Mother in law of Ken Jones. Step Grandmother of Keith (Valerie) Cardinal, Jon (Katie) Cardinal, John E. (Mindy) DeRiggi, II, Anthony (Leigh) DeRiggi, Michael (Melissa) DeRiggi, Darren (Brandy) DeRiggi, Brittany (Josh) DeRiggi, Christopher DeRiggi, Joshua DeRiggi, Ryan (Sarah) Jones, and Renee (Brittany) Jones; Step Great Grandmother of many; Sister of Ruth, Jack, Tom, and, Jim Moran; also survived by nieces and nephews. Dot retired after many dedicated years with PNC Bank. She enjoyed all kinds of crafting, especially painting and quilting, and lovingly shared her handmade creations, often gifting quilts to welcome new babies. A talented musician, she also played the organ. Dot cherished day trips and small adventures with her siblings and her husband, John, many taken simply for the joy of the ride and the pleasure of being together. Though her memory faded in recent years, she still found comfort and happiness in crafting during her time at Woodside, a reflection of how deeply that passion was part of who she was. Friends received, Wednesday, 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel, 7450 Saltsburg Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15235, where a Blessing Service will be held, Thursday, 10:00 AM. Interment in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, and to honor Dot and John's love for dogs, memorial contributions encouraged to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd, Pgh, PA 15237.
