Dorothy M. Dragonetti, 89 of Fairfax, South Carolina, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston SC. She was a fighter & stubborn in her own right! It took a lot to bring her down! She was born on August 18, 1934 in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Dorothy married at the age of 18 to Louis Dragonetti. She lived in Paramus and Toms River, NJ and then moved to Fairfax, South Carolina in 2021, where she resided with her son, James & wife Jeannine. Loving widow of Louis Dragonetti since 2001, mother of 3 sons, John, James & Louis, and their wives, Diane, Jeannine, & Eleanor, 7 grandchildren Lisa, Erika, Eric, Lauren, Michelle, Nicola & Jason and one great granddaughter, Paisley Rae.
Her love for her family was always her priority and immeasurable. She never faltered when it came to being present for all of her children & grandchildren. She always attended every special event or occasion that came about, whether it was birthdays, dance competitions, sporting events, motocross races, the list goes on.
Christmas was her most precious holiday and certainly made it very special! She loved decorating and yes, shopping was her favorite past time. And boy did she SHOP!! Dorothy had a multitude of friends where she found much joy and loved and cherished them like family. She always stayed active and enjoyed different hobbies.
"Ms. Dottie" was loved very much by her church family at Family Bible Fellowship Church of Ridgeville in Early Branch SC, Her deep relationship with the Lord was observed daily through loving and serving others. Dorothy's love for the Lord, family and life will always be cherished by all who knew her. Her precious spirit will be in our hearts forever!
