Dorothy Faria Obituary
She was the wife of the late Anthony R. Faria for 64 years.
Dorothy was born and lived her life in Falmouth. She was a stay at home mom, homemaker, and devout member of St. Anthony's Church, which her late father John B. Moniz helped build.
Dorothy was creative and had an artistic flair. She enjoyed decorating her home, especially during the holidays.
Dottie loved sports. She was a huge Patriots fan. During her younger years she loved to ski and spent many weekends in New Hampshire with her family. She also loved watching her great-granddaughter Ellie play hockey at the Falmouth Ice Arena.
She is survived by two daughters Maureen L. Frazier and Lynne M. Cusack, and one son Anthony Faria, Jr., all of East Falmouth, MA. In addition, she leaves 5 grandchildren Trea, Kelsey, Kayla Tara, and Anthony James; and 10 great-grandchildren Shaela, Laney, Ellie, Mason, Kenzie, Quinn, Owen, Cole, and Emersyn, and the newest great-granddaughter Lily-Rose.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday October 14th from 4 – 7 p.m. at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 584 West Falmouth Highway, West Falmouth, MA. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, October 15th at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church, 167 East Falmouth Highway, East Falmouth, MA. Burial will follow at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
