I met Dorothy when I was 18 yrs old. I met her in the beauty shop, where she got her hair done, in Warren. She was a good friend. She always shared her many trips with Herb, and going to family gatherings. She was there when I got married, had my children and mourned with me when I lost my dad and father in law, coming to both funerals. After the beauty shop closed, Dorothy came to my house and I did her hair at my home, every Friday, becoming even more of a member of our family. When driving became too much, I started going to her house. We had many long talks and laughs. She was a great listener and often gave advice. When Dorothy moved to assisted living it was to far for me to continue to do her hair. I take care of and live with my mom since Sept. of 2023 and can't leave her alone. Dorothy always said she could of been my mom as she married Herb in 1964 and it was the year I was born. My mom and her where the same age too. My mom's birthday, she is turning 92 this month, Dorothy in February. I missed seeing her and sharing my crazy life with her. Dorothy rest in peace, I love you and will remember all the fun we had. My sincere condolences and prayers to her extended family. Love Clair, Anthony, Michael and Emily Ciaravino
