Dorothy Mae Goodman daughter of the late Venus Myles and Willie Jones. Dorothy was born on November 23, 1942 in Elko, South Carolina. At an early age she joined Frost Branch Baptist Church. While living in South Carolina She attended Ebenezer Elementary School and Macedonia High School. In 1956 the family moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and she attended Seventh-Day Adventist school and Roosevelt High School. She received her G.E.D. and attended Bethune Cookman College and was later employed by the Palm Beach County School District as a Paraprofessional for twenty-eight years.
In august 1962 she married Marion Goodman. To this union three children were born, Anthony Bernard, Lydia Ann, and Lynn. She was predeceased by her husband, and son Anthony. Dorothy was quiet, kind, and a loving mother. She loved animals and children. She was a published poet.
Viewing for Mrs. Dorothy Goodman will take place Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 11:00AM - 2:00PM with services immediately following viewing at 2:00PM.
