Dorothy Faye Hild

Dorothy Faye Hild, 75 of Upper Deerfield Township passed away at her home on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 under the care of her family and Hospice. Born in Bedford, VA she was the daughter of Lillie Mae Overstreet Bacigalupo and the late Joseph Bacigalupo and had been an Upper Deerfield Township resident for 50 years. She had lived in Bridgeton and Buena prior to that.

Before her retirement, she had been employed at the D & D Thrift Store in Norma as a manager. She had also worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Rainbow Nursing Center and as a private duty nurse locally. In addition, she had worked at South Jersey Water Testing and had previously owned and operated the former Chiari's Diner in Upper Deerfield Township. She was passionate about antiques especially furniture items.

She is survived by her two children, Tracie-Leigh Gomolka of PA and George "Tom" Heck, III of Upper Deerfield Township; her mother, Lillie Mae Bacigalupo of Buena; four siblings, Charles "Chicky" Marchesani of Buena, Joseph Bacigalupo of Minotola, Michael Bacigalupo (Lucinda) of Buena and Tina Bacigalupo along with 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Adam Hild; her brother, Danny Dooley; her sister, Loretta Barbaglia and her father, Joseph Bacigalupo.

Funeral services will be held at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 1107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Township on Tuesday, September 23rd at 11:00 AM. A visitation will take place on Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Laurel Lawn Cemetery in Upper Deerfield Twp.
