Dorothy Hubbart Obituary

DOROTHY LEE HUBBART Dorothy Lee Hubbart, 75, of Augusta, KS, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025, in Wichita. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2025, at First Christian Church, Douglass, KS. Dorothy was born in Winfield, KS on August 9, 1949, to the late Julia (Eckel) and Jim Taylor. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for many years, but her true passion was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. On December 31, 1992, she married Butch Hubbart who survives her. She is also survived by: son, Jake Goldenstein, and wife Shanna; step-son, Tony Hubbart and wife Tammy; step-daughter, Tresha Hixon, and husband Dusty; brothers, Hope Taylor and wife Jana and Bill Taylor; grandchildren, Jacob (Taylor), Janelle, and Jared Goldenstein; step-grandchildren, Brady Hubbart (Haleigh), Brittni Wilkins (Cole), Braxton Hubbart, Leslie McGarraught (Brandon), Grant Chappell, Devon Chappell, Bailey Chappell, and Hannah Grooms; 17 great-grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her son, Jared Goldenstein; daughter, Michelle Goldenstein; sisters, Kate Haaga, Anne Frakes, Betsy Wright, and Connie Biles.
