DOROTHY ANN (KUPAR) KOTYUHA
ASHLAND, OHIO Dorothy Ann (Kupar) Kotyuha, age 91, passed away on Saturday October 18, 2025 at Woodlands of Liberty in Wadsworth, Ohio.
Dorothy was born June 19, 1934 in Barberton, Ohio. She was a daughter of Peter and Mary (Kallai) Kupar, and was a 1952 graduate of Barberton High School. She furthered her education by earning her diploma as a Registered Nurse from the former People's Hospital School of Nursing; now known as Akron General Hospital.
She worked as a Registered Nurse in Florida, Akron and Barberton.
She married her husband John Kotyuha and moved to the Youngstown area in the late 1960's. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church.
Dorothy enjoyed playing BINGO and volunteering at her church.
She is survived by her son John J. Kotyuha; as well as many nieces, nephews and a brother-in-law, Mike Kotyuha.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers Daniel, George and Michael Kupar; as well as her sister Mary Macko.
Private funeral services were held on Saturday October 25, 2025 at the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, with Fr. Michael Farynets, officiating.
Dorothy was laid to rest beside her husband at St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Campbell, Ohio.
