Dorothy Larese-Kellar Obituary

Dorothy Jean Larese-Kellar, 62, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on August 11, 2025, in New Martinsville, WV. Dorothy was born on July 6, 1963, in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of Frank Murphy, Sr., and Edna Murphy.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by the love of her life Sherman Larese.

Dorothy leaves behind her siblings Rita Childers, Mary Walter, and Frank Murphy; four children Kitricia Littell, Tiffany Louis, Jamie Larese, and Jennifer Hutchinson; four grandchildren Brandy Kellar, Dallas Kellar, Sarah Louis, and Violet Jackson; and her family and friends.

Dorothy loved God and loved helping others. She spent her time reading and attending yard sales and she enjoyed teaching math.

Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband Sherman at Riverview Cemetery. Her private arrangements have been entrusted to Altmeyer Funeral Homes Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel.
