Dorothy McCleese Obituary
She was born June 12, 1938, in Lewis County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Morris and Didama McCoy Toller.
Dorothy was a member of Black Oak Christian Church. She was always ready to volunteer at DAV and Salvation Army, She enjoyed watching TV, helping others, working puzzles, and spending time with her friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 12 years, Kirby McCleese; one granddaughter, Leslie Blevins; four brothers, Wiley Manns, Homer Manns, Junior Toller, Lovell Toller; three sisters, Georgia Toller, Louise McCann and Edna Toller.
She is survived by two daughters, Donna (Bruce) McDonald of Midway, Kentucky, Tammy (David) Kamer of Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, along with many other family and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services will be held, 1 p.m., Monday, March 9, 2026, at Dickerson Funeral Home, 110 West Second Street, Vanceburg, Kentucky, with Brother Jim Girdwood officiating. Burial will follow in Lewis County Memory Gardens in Vanceburg, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 11:30 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2026, until the service hour at Dickerson Funeral Home.
