It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dorothy Ann Pittman, aged 89, on October 23, 2025. Born on June 8, 1936, in Mayo, Florida, Dorothy lived her life with a spirit that radiated warmth, love, and joy.
Dorothy, a cherished wife to her beloved spouse, Calvin Pittman, embraced her role as a homemaker with dedication, creating a nurturing and loving environment for her family. Known affectionately as the "yard sale queen," she delighted in finding treasures and sharing joyful moments with others. In her free time, Dorothy loved to dance and listen to music, her laughter and spirit bringing happiness to all who knew her.
A devoted member of her local church community, she found her greatest joys in being surrounded by family and friends. Her unwavering faith and kindness provided strength and solace to those fortunate enough to be part of her life.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Darlene Pittman; and her parents, Ebbine Johnson and Annie Johnson.
Dorothy is survived by her loving spouse of 57 years, Calvin Pittman; her children, Marla Kay Homan (Gene), Gleeta Diane Stieneker (Ricky), James Richard Walker, Joey Craig Pittman (Rita), Preston Odell Pittman (Joyce), and Timothy Barton; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. As we reflect upon her life, we are reminded of her vibrant passion for life, community, and the bonds of love that she so cherished.
