Dorothy "Gail" Price was born July 1, 1941 in Scranton, Pennsylvania to John and Mabel Marks Beynon. She passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025 in her home in Lebanon, Missouri at the age of eighty-three years, eight months and twelve days.
Gail, as she was known by family and friends, was raised in Pennsylvania and completed her schooling there. She then moved to California where she was employed for a brief time with a telephone company.
She met Norman Price while living in California and they were married on December 15, 1959 in Blythe, California. They had recently celebrated sixty-five years of wonderful memories together.
Gail is preceded in death by her daughter, Joanne Williams.
She is survived by her loving husband, Norman; her daughter, Rhonda Parrott of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandsons, Daniel J. Bledsoe and his wife Jessica and Marcus William Clark and his wife Caressa; and a great-granddaughter, Noralee Faith Clark.
Gail was a member at Hillcrest Baptist Church and had a heart for serving God. Through the years, wherever she and Norman lived, Gail took an active role in the church. Gail helped with Vacation Bible School and Awana, among other opportunities at church.
She loved life and loved people. Gail would welcome others with open arms.
Gail enjoyed reading and traveling with Norman in their RV. They traveled thousands of miles together, seeing much of the United States.
Throughout her life, Gail was known for her unwavering dedication to her family, embodying the roles of a loving wife, devoted mother, and cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. Her home was a haven of warmth, love and laughter, where countless memories were created and treasured. We celebrate her life and know her family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories she made with them.
Service for Gail Price will be private.
