Dorothy J. Rehak

Dorothy J. "Dot/Dottie" Rehak (Hathaway), 56, of Wareham, passed suddenly and unexpectedly at her home on Sunday August 21, 2022.
Dot graduated Brockton High School in 1984. She later went on to receive her LPN from Upper Cape Cod Regional Technical School.
Dottie spent the majority of her career working at nursing homes caring for the elderly that she loved as if they were her own. She then went on to work for Southcoast Health, as a part of their Covid-19 hotline/call center, for the past few years.
She leaves behind the love of her life, Timothy Rehak, who were about to celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary on September 1st. She is survived by her three children, James Hathaway of Wareham, Robert Hathaway and his wife Elizabeth Hathaway (McCarthy) of Mashpee, and Amanda Ericson (Rehak) and her husband Richard Ericson of Fall River. Her 4 grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Kyra and Bryson were her entire world, she enjoyed every minute spent with them.
Dot was a salt of the earth kind of person with an infectious personality and a smile that would light up any room she entered. She was loved by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 at Chapman Funerals & Cremations Wareham, 2599 Cranberry Hwy. (Rt. 28), Wareham from 4 6 PM, followed by a gathering at the Rosebrook Event Center at 50 Rosebrook Place, Wareham, MA 02571 from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm.
Attendees are encouraged to bring a single rose to show their love for Dorothy.
