"My Dorothy", more of a force of nature than anyone I have ever known. If we cannot move the mountain call Dorothy. She will make it quake. If we needed advice, a shoulder, a hand up, "need fed" or just want the best of friends, Dorothy was there. She literally saved my life.
A woman who values family above ALL else in the world. Anyone who ever spent even a short while with her knows she never tires of speaking of all of them with tremendous pride and love.
A truly remarkable woman. A woman with great tenacity, A temperament equal to the most determined of all people. A woman who did not know the word can't and who could accomplish astonishing things in the blink of an eye while the rest of us were still pondering how to take the first step. A woman of great accomplishments and of great compassion. A woman with many fascinating stories to tell. (Also a woman who needed a very long time to choose her granite. I must have had 20 samples in the back of my car over 6 months of searching).
My Dorothy, my dear friend and much, much more. In my life no one person has ever watched over me in my times of illness and need more or better than you. You are in my heart forever and I know I will never know another person like you. I will treasure every memory, every story, every idea, every trip, every lunch we shared and every "adventure" we embarked on together. Also, with Irv when we could convince him to "schlep along. The joy, the love and the care (and all the chicken soup and advise as well) that you gave to me over the years are with me for the rest of my life. For all of these things I truly and lovingly thank you " My Dorothy." I will deeply miss you.
Sincere sympathy to Dorothy's family and to "MY Irv" you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincere condolences to the family of such a dynamic woman. I am proud to have met and worked with both Dorothy and Irv while employed at Homes by Edie.
