Dorothy Sandoval (Dunwoody) entered into eternal rest on April 21th 2025. Dorothy was born on May 10th 1960. She was a lifelong resident of Peekskill, NY and graduated from Peekskill High School in 1978.
Dorothy is survived by her son James Sandoval Jr, brother Ronald Dunwoody, nephews Ronald Dunwoody Jr (Harley), Nicolas Dunwoody, Ronald Dunwoody III, daughter in law Danielle and her three grandchildren whom she loved dearly, James III, Jeremy and Jason. She is predeceased by her parents Willard and Ann Dunwoody along with her brother and sister Willard and Nancy Dunwoody.
Dorothy was known for her front end supervisor position at the local Stop and Shops for over 35 years previously known as Grand Union. Besides work, Dorothy's hobbies included going on day trips to the local casino with her late sister Nancy and son James, drinking Diet Coke and spending time with her grandchildren.
A direct burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025, at 11:00 am.
