Dorothy "Dottie" Lee Scott, 79, of Huntertown, passed away on August 26, 2021, at her residence. She was born in Maytown, KY on January 12, 1942, to the late Vice Roy and Lula (Lewis) Lykins. On July 30, 1960, she married Paul E. Scott in West Union, OH. She graduated from West Union High School in 1960. Dottie is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul E. Scott; four daughters, Monica Sue (Neil) Hamilton, Tonie (Bill) Zeker, Terrie Carter and Nicole (Jason) Walker; three grandchildren, Samuel "Sammy" Walker, Brian Meilton and Jennifer Hamilton; two great-grandchildren, Cory and Paige Semo; one great-great-granddaughter, Arlynn Beckett. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Adam Carter; two brothers, French Lewis and Douglas Lykins; two sisters, Ruth Hall and Geneva Smalley; a niece, Cindy Fender Dowdy; a nephew, Dougie Shephard. Calling will take place Sunday, August 29, 2021, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home, Huntertown Chapel, 16830 Lima Road, Huntertown, IN 46748, with service to follow. Burial will be on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Fernwood Cemetery in Lockbourne, OH. Memorials contributions may be made to the Adam Carter Memorial Fund @ Westfall Education Foundation, 19463 Pherson Pike, Williamsport, OH 43164.
