Mrs. Dorothy Hannah Sherman, age 84, of Winder, passed away at her residence on Friday, August 09, 2024.
The family will hold a visitation on Monday, August 19, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am at Braselton Funeral Home's Braselton Room with a service in the Braselton Chapel at 11 am officiated by Murray Tilles, Director of Light of Messiah Ministries, with a reception to follow in the Braselton room.
Mrs. Sherman was born on Friday, October 27, 1939 to Mr. George Russ Goldstein & Mrs. Mildred Goldstein in Newark, New Jersey.
Dorothy valued her family & friends. She always enjoyed planning trips & spending time with loved ones making memories. She was an amazing pianist with a great appreciation and love for music. She loved to play bridge, cards, scrabble, & do crossword puzzles.
Mrs. Sherman is survived by her daughter, Ricki Porter (John Wesley); son, Andy Sherman (Stacey); sister, Sharon Snyder; grandchildren, Alexis Pregel (Tyler), Justin Porter, Cassidy Yermal (Brian), & Stephanie Fisher (Jimmy); great grandchildren, Rylan Pregel & Isabella Pregel.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Michael Goldstein, & her brother-in-law, Mark Snyder.
