"Dorothy Ann Pardue Snowball, age 77 of Waskom, Texas, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 8, 2024, with her beloved husband and son, Lloyd T. Snowball and Vincent R. Copeland, by her side, in Hospice of Highland Hospital, Shreveport, Louisiana.
Dorothy was born October 1, 1946 in Ashland, Louisiana. She worked in commercial insurance for over 40 years. She retired from Louisiana Risk Management after many years of dedicated professionalism. Dorothy was a self-taught success story in the insurance industry and was a respected leader among her peers.
Dorothy was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching Patrick Mahomes play for the Kansas City Chiefs. Dorothy loved gardening and yardwork and caring for her precious pets. Dorothy also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her husband Lloyd T. Snowball of Waskom, Texas; one son, Vincent R. Copeland and wife, Annette, of Corinth, Texas; three grandchildren, Baley A. Copeland, Jackson R. Copeland (and wife, Taylore), and Samuel T. Copeland, of Corinth, Texas; one great-grandson, Jace R. Copeland, of Corinth, Texas; brothers Larry Pardue (and wife, Donna and family) and Charlie Pardue (and wife June and family) of Alaska, and sister, Faye Jenkins (and family) of Louisiana. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents and brother, Billy Roy Cason of Louisiana.
The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society."
