Jim Harrell Cotton, age 84, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Born on July 6, 1941, in Monroe, Louisiana, to James H. Cotton and Annie Lee Cotton.

Jim was a proud graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM). Following his education, he served honorably in the United States Army. With dedication and entrepreneurial spirit, he went on to become the owner of Williams P&S Pharmaceutical Supply Co., where his leadership and commitment to excellence were well known in the community. His legacy of kindness and generosity endures in the lives of all who knew him.

Jim married the love of his life, Tommie Cotton, with whom he shared many cherished years. He was a loving and kind man, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Cotton; his parents, James H. and Annie Lee Cotton; his sisters, Peggy Kimball and Sharon Holder; sister-in-law, Mary Cotton, and his niece, Jackie Johnston.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle and husband Perry Britt, grandchildren; Garrett Britt, Peyton Toups, and Madie Flag; his brother, Joe D. Cotton; his sister, Jan Daniel; his niece, Sarah Cotton; nephews, Jakob Daniel and Jordan Daniel; as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Park East Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 4, 2025.
