Dorothy L. Solecki, age 92 of Eastpointe, Michigan passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024 in Warren surrounded by family. Born Dorothy Louise Valicevic on August 25, 1931 to Joseph Valicevic and his wife Helen Valicevic (nee: Kranjac). Loving wife of the late Richard William Solecki. She was a devoted homemaker and mother who loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed gardening and watching game shows (especially Wheel of Fortune), was an avid reader throughout her life and will always be remembered for her talent for cooking and baking.
Dorothy is survived by her children; Rick W. Solecki (Sharon Learnihan), Mary Solecki, Michael J. Solecki (Debbie Hough), Patricia A. Solecki and Sharon (Ken) Butler, 8 grandchildren; Bryan M. (Ashley) Solecki, Jennifer A. Solecki, Amy L. Solecki, Christy (Cameron) Mims, Melanie (Billy) Morgan, Olivia Butler, Justin Nowicki and Emily N. Solecki and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Solecki in 2015.
Visitation 3:00pm - 8:00pm Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Chas. Verheyden Inc., 43300 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, Michigan. Instate 10:00am Friday, August 16, 2024 until time of Mass, 10:30am at St. Ronald Catholic Church, 17701 15 Mile Rd., Clinton Township, Michigan 48035.
