Dorothy Swistak passed away peacefully on May 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Dorothy's warmth, strength, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved Husband Larry Swistak, with whom she shared many years of love and partnership. Dorothy was preceded in death by her cherished son the late Mark Swistak, She leaves behind her brother Chester (Paula) Klimowicz, and her loving grandson Matt Swistak. Dorothy was an active member of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, giving her time and heart to the church community.
Her legacy of kindness, grace, and unwavering devotion to family will live on in those who were blessed to know her. Dorothy's presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will be forever cherished.
Visitation Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM at the Czopek Chapel at 2157 Oak Street. Wyandotte, MI 48192 (734) 285-9000. Funeral Service Friday, May 16, 2025 at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church Instate 9:30 AM with Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery.
