Dorothy Jefferson Ukpabi

Dorothy Ann Jefferson Ukpabi age 80 of 225 Breazeale Street Belton S.C., passed Friday October 17, 2025 at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House. She was a native of Anderson County and was born on May 17, 1945 to the parents of the late Eddie Jefferson and Alice Latimer Jefferson. Dorothy was a graduate of Geer-Gantt High School Class of 1962, and a Graduate of Benedict College class of 1968. Dorothy was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where she served on the Missionary Ministers, Sunday School, and Bible Study, she was a Lab Technician at Belton Industry. Survivors include one grand-daughter Endia Douglas of Huntsville Alabama, one sister Willie Ann (Willie C.) Scott of Anderson S.C., two brothers Walter Lee Jefferson of Belton S.C., and Jeff (Lucia) Jefferson of Honea Path S.C. and a host of Nieces and Nephews and Relatives and Friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Erika Jefferson, brother Thomas Jefferson. Funeral services will be held Thursday 2:00P.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Public viewing will be Wednesday from 12:00-6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. The family is at the home of her brother Walter Lee Jefferson 109 Burr Drive Belton S.C. Holloway's Funeral Home is serving the Jefferson-Ukpabi Family.
