Dorothy L. Wilmot, (Dot, Dottie), left this world peacefully at her home in Morrisville, PA, on January 5, 2025, after living a full and vibrant life.
Born and raised in Morrisville she was well known in her community, Dorothy was a graduate of Morrisville High School, class of 1943. A member of Holy Trinity Church where she also volunteered while her children attended school there.
Dorothy worked at Penn Fruit super market. Then in the 1980’s she drove special need students for the Bucks County Intermediate Unit. Dorothy was a nightshift volunteer at Morrisville Ambulance Squad for 11 years.
Dorothy is known for her love to travel and lending a helping hand to friends and family when needed. Her family attributes her long life to Dorothy’s passion of health and fitness. Also walking just about anywhere around town.
Dorothy’s grandchildren remember her baking sweet treats in the kitchen such as her rice pudding, cherry cheesecake, and chocolate chip cookies.
Dorothy was known for her strong will and determination, often described as stubborn in the most charming way. She embraced life with an enthusiasm that inspired those around her. Yet, it was her family that brought her the greatest joy and pride. She enjoyed every moment with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Dot was preceded in death by loving husband of 43 years, William E. Wilmot Sr. (1989)

In addition she is remembered fondly by countless extended relatives and close friends who were fortunate enough to know her.
A visitation will be held on January 13, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, located at 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. Following the visitation, a Mass will take place at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, 201 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville, PA, 19067, starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at a later date in Morrisville Cemetery.
Dot Wilmot’s legacy of love, service, and strength will forever reside in the hearts of her family and community. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the fond memories she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Dot's memory to Holy Trinity R.C. Church 201 N. Pennsylvania Ave Morrisville, PA 19067.
