Funeral Services for Dottie Ophelia Parker Douglas will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 17, 2025 at the Urania Pentecostal Church with Bro. Clay Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery at Sikes under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla. The Douglas Family will receive visitors from 10:30 AM until time of service at the church.
Dottie Ophelia Douglas was born on November 24, 1941 and she passed from this life on Saturday April 12, 2025 at the Hardtner Medical Center in Olla following a brief illness. She was 83. When she was younger she loved gardening and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Leon Douglas and grandson, Dustin Kyle Anding.
She is survived by her daughter- Vickie Lynn Douglas and son-in-law, Tony Elliott and a daughter by heart- Donna Howard; two grandsons: Eric Finch and Jeramie Anding; her great-grandchildren: Camron Clark, Ravyn Lee, Oktober Finch, Austin Laszlo, Brylan Anding, Xander Finch and Destin Moore; and two step-great-grandchildren: McKenzie Callander and Quincy Callander; and a host on nieces and nephews.
She always loved and worried about her family. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed. This is not goodbye, It is until we meet again.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeramie Anding, Eric Finch, Camron Clark, Brylan Anding, Tony Elliott and Austin Laszlo.
