Johnny Douglas "Doug" Coburn 81, of Robinson Creek , Kentucky, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Doug was born on Feb. 4, 1943 to his parents the late Basil Coburn and Roberta Fitzpatrick Slone. He was the husband of Vonda Ratliff Coburn, and a retired self employed construction worker and served his country honorably in United States Army.
In addition to his wife, Vonda, Doug is survived by one daughter, Johnna (Tommy) Compton, one granddaughter, Chloe Compton, one sister, Patricia Bowling, two brothers, Eugene (Sandra) Coburn, David (Cherri) Slone, several nieces, nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with a singing service at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Morgan Chapman officiating. Burial will follow in the East Gate Cemetery at Eastern, Kentucky.
