A Funeral Service for Doug Naab, age 57, of Terril will be held on Monday, April 17, 2023 at 2:00pm at Calvary United Methodist Church in Arnolds Park. Interment will be at Milford Cemetery. Douglas Lyle Naab, age 57, of Terril, passed Wednesday, April 12th, 2023, at his home. He was born on March 19, 1966, in Sibley, Iowa, to Richard "Andy" and Betty (Pedley) Naab.

Doug graduated from Arnold's Park High School in 1984. He worked as a landscaper, carpenter, general contractor, and much more. Doug possessed the skills and knowledge to accomplish any task required. Simply put, if he didn't know how to do it, he would learn, if he chose not to learn it didn't need done.

Doug enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. As an avid outdoorsman, he could be found hiking with his dog, kayaking, canoeing, bird watching, hunting or fishing. He also enjoyed camping, boating, golfing and gardening. His passion for gardening and possession of a green thumb was evident in the abundance of harvested crop and sanctuary he found in his beautifully landscaped yard.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 30 years, Debbie Naab; two sons Douglas (Michal) Naab and daughter Emma of Spirit Lake and Ethan (Devan Demory) Naab and their children Calvin and Nova of Hartley; one daughter Chelsea (Joshua "Superstar") Parsons and their children Taylor, Kaylee, Peighton, Vera and Charli of Terril; his mother Betty Naab of West Okoboji; one brother Dennis (Cindy) Naab of Spirit Lake and one sister Diane (Dennis) Fisher of Milford; father-in-law Doug (Diane) Roseberry of Spencer; sister-in-law affectionately called Sis, Tonya (Curt) Langner of Everly; brother-in-law Steve (Jodi) Roseberry of Sioux Center; and many nieces and nephews.

Waiting in heaven to greet Doug is his father Andy Naab; brother Dave Naab; grandparents Clarence and Voda Pedley, Glen and Viginia Naab, Darwin and Edna Roseberry; and mother-in-law Jeanette Roseberry. Cradled in his arms is his grandson Douglas Lyle Naab III.
