Doug was a dedicated mechanic, a trade he pursued with passion and skill throughout his entire life. He was an avid NASCAR and motorcycle racing fan.
He leaves behind his three children: Tony Sonberg(Jaime), Todd Capen, and Brittney Capen. Doug was also a proud grandfather to Jacob, Gracelyn, and Mackenzie, whom he adored and cherished deeply.
Doug is survived by his two sisters, Lurline and Tina, who will miss their brother deeply. He was predeceased by his mother, Anna, whose memory he held dear.
Doug also leaves behind his ex-wife, Michele, with whom remained a very close friend. Private calling hours will be held for the family on Friday, April 11th, from 5-7 PM.
