I also worked at the post office and had many conversations with Doug. I enjoyed our conversations. He was a good man and a hard worker. I am sorry for your loss.

Such a small world we live in. I go to church with many of Doug's family members, and I also retired from the Postal Service. I helped Doug years ago with an injury he sustained at work. We spent several hours together and I grew to know him as a man who took life seriously, treated people with respect, and was very thankful. My condolences go out to all of you who knew him. I pray tomorrow's service is a time of peace and beauty as you remember Doug and good memories about his life. Blessings, Kathy Robb

I had worked with Doug for several years when I first started at the Peoria Post Office downtown. I remember him being so polite and always on time and I don´t ever remember him calling in sick. R I P Doug.
