Douglas C. Corkwell

Douglas C. Corkwell 1944 – 2025 Douglas C. Corkwell, 81, of South Dayton, NY entered into rest December 19, 2025. He was born in South Dayton, NY on May 26, 1944, to his late parents William and Alice (Lietz) Corkwell. After high school he went to Jamestown Business College and eventually went on to work for the family car dealership Corkwell's Garage. He also owned a snowmobile and motorcycle dealership. Douglas enjoyed the outdoors, snowmobiling and staying at the family cabin. He is survived by his children Kevin (Wendy) Corkwell, Keith Corkwell and Chris Corkwell, eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Lynda Smith and a sister Carol Nobles. Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio Funeral Home 478 Route 83 at Balcom Corners South Dayton, NY Tuesday December 23 from 4PM to 7PM where a funeral service will be held Wednesday December 24, 2025, at 10AM. Internment will be in Villenova Cemetery
