Douglas Dorman Obituary
Doug is predeceased by his parents, George and Selma (Lissek) Dorman.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon, and several cousins.
Doug was born in Brooklyn, NY, where he attended the Lexington School for the Deaf. Upon graduation he enrolled at the National Technical Institute for the Deaf at RIT in Rochester, NY. After graduating college, Doug moved to Endicott to start a 31 year career with IBM/Lockheed Martin.
Doug was an avid fisherman and golfer and will be greatly missed by his golf buddies and friends.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 @ 11:00am at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Douglas, please visit our floral store.

Douglas had a positive outlook towards life, enjoyed the outdoors, and was very accomplished. I was very proud of my cousin. He spoke of his love for Sharon, his wife. The outpouring of his friends/coworkers speaks volumes.

Doug was a great guy !! We worked together for several years and whenever I would see him in the hallway he always had a smile and a wave and we would stop and chat and catch up !! RIP my friend

I had the honor of knowing Doug though work. He liked a good joke and was great to work with. It is so sad to see this. My condolences to his family.

So sorry to hear of Doug´s passing. I really enjoyed working with him at Owego. He was a smart guy and had a great sense of humor. He´ll be missed.
