Douglas A. Fordham Jr. of Orange, VT was born September 27, 1975. He joined his Dad on August 17, 2025, following many health issues. He was the son of Douglas Fordham Sr. and Linda (Phillips) Fordham of Berlin, VT. Doug entered eternal peace at the home of his sister, Cherie (Donald) Morris of Orange, VT, where he had been cared for over the past 15 years. He leaves his other two sisters: Mary Fordham Davis of Plainfield, VT, and Michelle Fordham Chambers of Iaconia, NH. And his Aunt Tina and Peter Perreault of Websterville. Doug leaves ten nieces and nephews: Michaela Morris of Craftsbury, VT; Miranda Morris of Barre, VT; Shane Morris of Orange, VT; Autumn Calderon of Barre, VT; Victor A. Calderon Jr. (deceased); Mackenzie Fordham of Williamstown, VT; Darren Chambers of Morrisville, VT; Savannah Fordham of Johnson City, NY; Clara Fordham of Iaconia, NH; Anthony and Andrew Martin of Barre, VT; Gavin Forham of Iaconia, NH; Steven Perreault of Barre, VT; and 3 great nieces and 2 great nephews. Doug is predeceased by his Grandparents, Stanley and Edith Fordham of Barre, VT, George and Maxine Phillips of Northfield Falls, VT, his Uncle, Mike Phillips, and his Aunts, Murial Davison and Sally Fordham of Barre, VT. Doug attended Berlin Elementary and Spaulding High, graduating from U-32 in 1995. Doug had several jobs, including Sugarbush, Enough Ministries, World Paper, and recycling K-cups. Doug was cared for by his daycare provider, Lisa Rowell of Calais, VT, and his cousin Andrew Martin. It was said many times that Doug was the life of the party- he truly was! His hobbies included everything Elvis, visiting Graceland on his 30th birthday, fishing, camping, bonfires, jeeping, his guitar, drawing, painting, and the occasional yard work. His favorite, though, was having a cold beer with the boys! Doug was known far and wide; he introduced himself as "his Mom's son". He had a gift for making many people his friends! He was loved by many. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 21st, from 7 to 9 that evening at Kingston Funeral Home, 35 Slate Avenue, Northfield, VT. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 30th, at 11 am, at Northfield Falls Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will follow at the family's discretion. A very special thank you to Upper Valley Services of Moretown, VT, Deb Reed of Montpelier, VT, the hospice and visiting nurses of the Barre area, and to the many day providers over the years.
